Lidl disposes of solus Chichester asset

ESH are pleased to have acted on behalf of Lidl on the disposal of The Gym in Chichester to a private investor for £2,300,000.

The property consists of 13,279 sq ft of accommodation let to The Gym at £12.05 psf, expiring in August 2035.

ESH represents Fund on the sale of solus discount retail investment

An Abrdn managed Fund, represented by ESH, have disposed of The Range in Monks Cross, York at a price of £7,615,000.

A former foodstore comprising approximately 65,666 sq ft, it’s now let to The Range who extended the building in 2006 to approximately 82,948 sq ft. The Range recently regeared to provide a lease expiry in 2035.

ESH advises on purchase of fully let south east park

ESH are delighted to have acted for an institutional investor on the acquisition of Churchill Retail Park in Andover. The vendor was represented by Montagu Evans.

The park is located in a prime retail warehouse position off Enham Arch roundabout. The scheme consists of 32,987 sq ft which is fully occupied by Currys, TK Maxx and Carpetright at an average passing rent of £16.60 per sq ft.

Flurry of activity at Parkgate Shopping

ESH are proud to have helped deliver a flurry of deals on Parkgate Shopping, Rotherham for our client Tim Cornford @ Ellandi in the last few weeks, welcoming new names over the coming months including Frasers/Flannels, Wren Kitchens, Popeyes and a relocated, upsized Poundland.  This along with lease regears completed with TK Maxx, Superdrug, Matalan and Wilko.

2023 is also looking to be nice and busy!

ESH adds to investment team

Edgerley Simpson Howe are delighted to announce the recruitment of Dom Barnard as associate partner in our investment team.

Barnard leaves Cushman & Wakefield, where he worked in the retail warehouse capital markets team for seven years.

He has worked with a range of institutional investors as well as REITs and property companies in both acquisition and disposal roles.

At ESH he will advise clients of the investment team alongside Jamie Naughton, David Cooke and Flora Nash.
