Congleton is an affluent market town in Cheshire, situated approximately 26 miles south of Manchester and 14 miles north of Stoke-on-Trent. It is directly connected to the M6 Motorway via the A534 & A54, junctions 17 & 18 respectively.The Retail Park is situated on Barn Road, approximately ¼ mile north of the A34 Clayton Bypass. Earlier this year Barn Road was extended to join the Viking Way Link Road and Congleton Bypass, the main thoroughfare across the town. This will accelerate delivery of the 2017 Cheshire East Local Plan target of 36,000 new homes by 2030. Planning consent has been granted directly to the north-west of the Retail Park for Viking Park a 23-acre mixed use development providing up to 175 new homes and a new 20,000 sq ft supermarket, pre-let to Lidl
