Jollyes have continued its strong UK expansion programme in 2026, with 12 new stores already opened this calendar year.

The retailer started the year with openings in Blackpool, Ponders End, Hartlepool and Whitehaven, followed in the second quarter by Lincoln, Kidderminster and Yeovil. The growth continued throughout summer, with new store openings in Derby, Evesham, Great Yarmouth, Seaham and Sheffield, taking them to 127 stores nationwide. The expansion continues with Mansfield scheduled to open on 16th October, followed by a further opening in Dunfermline in November.

The continued rollout highlights Jollyes’ commitment to expanding and its ongoing demand for new stores across the UK.

Edgerley Simpson Howe represented Clipstone Investment Management Limited on the disposal of Bradley Road Retail Park in Trowbridge for £7,800,000 to a private investor.

The property comprises 41,771 sq ft let to B&Q and Halfords at an average passing rent of £13.58 psf, with a WAULT of 7.7 years to expiry.

Mattressman has opened its 12^th and largest store to date at Lakeside Retail Park in Thurrock. The 10,000 sq ft store features Mattressman’s new in-store configuration tool “Choose your Snooze”, designed to help customers build their perfect bed setup.

This follows on from another recent opening at Staples Corner Retail Park (Brent Cross) and further reinforces the brand’s commitment to physical retail.
